With her hit series “Girls” slated to premiere its third season on January 12th, Zosia Mamet garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the January 2014 issue of ASOS magazine.
While rocking a few poses for the Michael Hauptman-shot spread, the 25-year-old actress opened up about her first year living in LA and even revealed her feelings about co-star and creator of the show, Lena Dunham.
Check out a few highlights from Miss Mamets Q&A session below. For more, be sure to visit ASOS!
On her big move to LA:
I was incredibly lonely and I moved seven times during that first seasons filming. Then, during the second season, I fell in love with the city and suddenly it became easy and wonderful it really is like no other place in the world.
On her clothes:
Im not a girl who is going to put something on that I cant breathe in or walk in or sit down in, I dont see the point. I like something I feel good in, that feels me.
On “Girls” and Lena:
I love every single aspect of being on the show I have the most fun job in the world. And Lena [Dunham] I dont know if Ive ever worked with someone who has so much responsibility but is so calm. She is just one of the coolest, most collected humans Ive ever met thats an incredible example to learn from. She made a story about kids in their early 20s, in an unglamorous way. It was full throttle, didnt pull punches, and wasnt afraid to make things comfortable. Its entertaining and funny, but also dark and sad and unabashed and unapologetic I think people feel they can really related to it like shes telling their story.
