Maxima of the Netherlands wowed the world with her impeccable style during the celebrations which saw her become queen.
During the two-day festivities, the Argentine-born blonde wore a total of four outfits. The first, for a glittering state dinner on Monday evening, was a red Valentino flamenco-style gown. Taking to the balcony the next morning with her husband and three daughters, she shone in a satin number by Belgium designer Natan.
The investiture ceremony saw her don the most showstopping outfit – a cobalt blue floor-sweeping gown and matching cape created by Dutch designer Jan Taminiau. Making sure to fly the flag for Dutch designer, she called upon Jan for a second time to create the wine and cream lace dress that she wore for the river pageant and the dinner.
