Una Healy and husband Ben Foden took time out from their busy schedules to enjoy a rare night out at the UK premiere of Oz The Great And Powerful.
Mum-of-one Una glittered on the special yellow carpet in an embellished sheer dress which she accessorised with sparkly shoes and clutch. Meanwhile, rugby player Ben looked dapper in dark suit trousers and a black shirt.
Just hours after attending the big event, Una tweeted: “Go see OZ The Great And Powerful it”s a truly magical movie and will warm the cockles of your heart! X.”
Screen sirens and stars of the movie, Rachel Weisz, Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams also conjured up some stunning outfits for the premiere.
The Mummy star braved the chilly temperatures in London”s West End in a strapless cream lace number by Michael Kors while Michelle, who plays Glinda the Good Witch, chose a peacock dress by Burberry and Mila Kunis picked a brown checked gown with ruffles.
On the red carpet, Rachel revealed she relished playing a villainess in Sam Raimi”s origins story.
The 42-year-old star of The Constant Gardener and The Bourne Legacy admitted she threw herself into the role of wicked witch Evanora because it was so different to the people she normally portrays.
“It was really fun. Bad girls definitely have more fun, I think,” she said on the yellow carpet.
“I grew up watching black and white movies with my mum and we used to watch Bette Davis, Jean Harlow and so on. It used to be very fashionable for women to play bad girls but I think it”s gone out of fashion so I think it”s a good idea to make a resurgence.”
Rachel, who is married to Bond star Daniel Craig and has a six-year-old son with US filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, said her child played no part in influencing her career choices.
“I would never do a film for my son. He”s got his own life, which includes a lot of Lego. I thought it was a very fun character. She”s very nasty and wicked,” she said.
In his fourth reunion with Raimi since the Spider-Man films, James Franco takes the lead role of small-town magician Oscar Diggs, who has to try save the people of Oz from evil, with Williams cast as Glinda the Good Witch and Kunis as Evanora”s younger sister Theodora.
Oz The Great And Powerful opens in cinemas on March 8.
