Stepping out to support an important humanitarian cause, Uma Thurman attended the Moet & Chandon and FilmAid Asia Power of Film Gala at Clear Water Bay Film Studios in Hong Kong on Saturday (March 16).
Dressed in a gorgeous shiny red gown, the “Kill Bill” star sportingly posed with a samurai sword at the event to celebrate the use of film and media to transcend language and literacy, bringing life-saving information, psychological relief, and much-needed hope to refugees and other communities around the globe.
In collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and other global aid organizations, FilmAid already brought information, training, and empowerment programs to over two million people worldwide.
Reuniting with director Quentin Tarentino, Uma is rumored to already be attached to the anticipated sequel, “Kill Bill: Vol. 3.”
