Actor Tracy Morgan is in intensive care after being critically injured in a car crash in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police confirmed that 45-year-old Tracy”s car was involved in the crash, in what they have described as a six-vehicle accident on the the New Jersey Turnpike, near Cranbury Township.
Tracy, who became a father for the fourth time in August 2013, was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Centre in New Brunswick where a spokesperson said he is in a critical condition.
Tragically police said that a person sharing the same vehicle with Tracy was killed in the crash.
Two tractor-trailers, a sports utility vehicle and two cars, along withTracy”s limo bus, were involved in the accident.
New York-born Tracy rose to fame when he joined Saturday Night Live in 1996 and was on the sketch-comedy programme for seven years before leaving in 2003 to star in his own show.
In 2006 he found a long-running role in NBC”s hit show 30 Rock, which was created by Tina Fey.
