TOWIE star Peri Sinclair has attended the funeral of her mother Mandy Fowell, who died as the result of a tragic accident earlier this month.
“Paying tribute to my gorgeous mummy today,” tweeted heartbroken Peri. “Praying the sun shines for her. Love you always and forever.”
Mandy, 49, was killed on 7 February when strong winds caused a tree to fall and crush the barn she was in at her home in the Essex village of Abridge.
Businesswoman Mandy was found by her partner who called for an ambulance. Paramedics initially treated Mandy for lower leg injuries but she was struggling to breathe and went into cardiac arrest.
Peri, 22, has since created a memorial for her mother in the window of the greetings card shop she ran in Brentwood.
Amid roses and cards, Peri put a large photo of Mandy and a sign reading “In lovely memory of our beautiful Mandy Fowell. Forever in our hearts 1965-2014.”
Since leaving TOWIE in 2012, Peri had been working alongside her mum at the card shop.
Locals in the Essex town were left shocked and saddened by Mandy’s death.
“Mandy was lovely and was always helpful to everyone,” said Fay, a hairdresser. “She was down to earth and a really nice lady.
“Peri’s been rushing around sorting everything out. I don’t think she’s had time to think.”

“Peri’s a lovely friendly person,” added The Blue Boar pub’s assistant manager. “I can’t imagine what she’s going through. Anyone who loses their mum will be devastated.
“She’s got a younger brother and a dad so they all have just got to stick together. It’s terrible.”
The traders on Crown Street have raised money for a tribute plaque to be put outside Mandy’s shop.
“Ever since Mandy came here with the shop, about two years ago, she was totally supportive of Crown Street and 100 per cent behind anything we did to promote the street,” they said in a group statement. “The ideas she had and the way she made them happen were unique and this is a tragic loss.”
