Tom Cruise Makes Dumplings in Taiwan

Taking in a tasty cultural activity while in town to promote his new movie, “Oblivion,” Tom Cruise made steamed dumplings with Yang Chi-Hua in Taipei, Taiwan on Saturday (April 6).

The “Mission Impossible” star met with the owner of Din Tai Fung restaurant where they examined the popular dish, called “xiao long bao.”

Sporting a gray sweater and matching button-down shirt, the 50-year-old actor strapped on an apron as he tried his hand at wrapping up the petite parcels of goodness.

Soon, you can catch Tom”s new sci-fi flick in theaters, when “Oblivion” opens on April 19th. In the movie, Mr. Cruise plays a veteran assigned to extract a destroyed Earth”s remaining resources, who begins to question his mission and himself.
