It was a spectaular wedding ceremony attended by royalty and the cream of high society.
When socialite Petra Ecclestone married financier James Stunt last summer, the medieval Italian town of Bracciano came to a standstill.
At the same Italian fort where Katie Holmes became Mrs Tom Cruise, Petra and James said their vows against the spectacular backdrop of the setting sun.
Now, Petra has finally shared a picture of her magical day on Twitter after recently joining the site and changing her surname to Stunt.
In the photo, the designer is seen looking every inch the fairytale bride in her £80,000 strapless Vera Wang dress.
The wedding, which cost a staggering £12 million, took place over three days.
Her father, F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, later revealed the amount, saying he had no idea the bill would be quite that big.
He said: “My younger daughter got married and I thought, as father of the bride, I should pay for the wedding.
“But when it was suggested how much they would be spending on drinks, I thought it was absurd, and I managed to upset my daughter and my wife.
“Then she spent in excess of £12 million on my daughter”s wedding, which I did not know about until afterwards.”
