Fans of David Letterman”s Late Show can rejoice today as CBS announced that it extended the contract with the legendary host through 2015.
“There is only one Dave, and we are extremely proud that he continues to call CBS “home,”” Leslie Moonves, President and CEO of CBS, said in statement.
Letterman also commented on the exciting news, and said, “Les and I had a lengthy discussion, and we both agreed that I needed a little more time to fully run the show into the ground.”
The Late Show celebrates its 20th Anniversary this season, after it debuted in 1993. David is the longest running talk show host in TV history.
