Eager to share new music with their fans, the Jonas Brothers were set to kick off their tour in Darien Center, New York on Friday night (July 19), but Mother Nature had other plans.
Apologizing to ticketholders, Joe Jonas tweeted on Friday, “Very sad we cannot perform tonight”s show. We love you all. This weather is crazy. Stay safe. We will be back.”
High winds and lightning meant the concert would have to be made up at a later date as Nick and Kevin tweeted, “Safety is the main priority and we love our fans too much to put them in danger. Sorry we cannot perform tonight.”
Later, the youngest JoBro added, “We will be working with LiveNation and the venue on options. Thank you and love you all.”
