Simon Cowell wants Cheryl Cole back on "X Factor USA"

Simon Cowell wants Cheryl Cole back on
Cheryl Cole might be resuming her place on the panel of X Factor USA, as it”s reported that music mogul Simon Cowell wants her back as a judge on the show.

The Girls Aloud singer, who may be looking to move to the US to be with her beau Tre Holloway, from Los Angeles, could give advice to America”s talented hopefuls once again.

A source told The Mirror: “Simon would love to have Cheryl back. They”re chatting more and more at the moment and he”s hopeful she might be up for coming back.

She”s still spending a lot of time in the States and wants to move out there so it”s looking more likely to be on the cards.”

Cheryl, 29, was replaced on the US talent show by Nicole Scherzinger after appearing just three times on the first season. But it seems the pair have made friends after the controversial move to remove Cheryl from the Fox talent competition.

One complication in the return of the brunette bombshell to the series is the lawsuit that the star filed against X Factor USA“s production company, Blue Orbit, after being let go. She claims she is owed £1.25million for lost earnings from the second series as well as other costs.

There are currently two vacant seats on the third season”s judging panel beside Simon and Demi Lovato, as pop star Britney Spears and LA Reid won”t be returning. Jennifer Love Hewitt, 34, is said to be one of the possible replacements.

And following the recent announcement of Cheryl”s pop band splitting after their successful Ten-Hits anniversary tour, she could take up the other available spot. About what she”s going do next, she said: “It”s exciting to have no plans for once.

“I got a little way in with the third album then put it to one side to concentrate on the girls, so I don”t know. I had a third single planned, but now it feels like it was part of “then”, so I don”t know.

“Music is my first love, so I”ll never leave that behind.”
