Sandra Bullock "unharmed and fine" after home intrusion

Sandra Bullock is “unharmed and fine” after a suspected burglar reportedly broke into her Los Angeles home.

The 49-year-old actress was inside her property when the intruder showed up and a call to the California emergency services was made at 6.30am. Sandra’s uninvited visitor is thought to be Joshua Corbett, 39, and her publicist told People magazine that the star wasn’t hurt during the incident.

“An intruder was arrested on [her] property this morning,” her representative added on Sunday.

Gravity star Sandra was celebrating a win from the previous evening at the Spike TV Guys’ Choice Awards when the crime happened. The more light-hearted side of her weekend saw her honoured with the Decade of Hotness accolade while her actor friend Matthew McConaughey took home the Guy of the Year prize. Resembling her Miss Congeniality character, Sandra dress in pink and a tiara while clutching to a bunch of flowers to collect her trophy from Hugh Grant, Keanu Reeves and Matthew.

She appeared in 2002’s Two Weeks Notice with British actor Hugh and American hunk Keanu starred in 1994’s Speed with Sandra. The brunette was pictured with Matthew’s model wife Camila Alves, as well as Olivia Munn at the event.

As an Academy Award winner for her film The Blind Side, Sandra is one of Hollywood’s richest actress’, reportedly earning £8.3million in the working year leading up the mid-2013 according to Forbes. She parted ways from husband Jesse James in 2010 after a cheating scandal and is reportedly dating fellow thespian Chris Evans now.

Sandra is mother to an adopted two-year-old son named Louis, however it’s not clear whether he was at home during the break-in.
