Ronda Rousey PUMMELS Opponent, Defends UFC Title

0224_ronda_roussey_01It was a little more difficult than expected, but Ronda Rousey — the first-ever UFC female champion — defended her title with a first round submission at UFC 157 last night in Anaheim.

Rousey”s victory marked the first female fight in the near 20-year history of the UFC. She is now 7-0 and has finished off each of her opponents with the same move … an armbar … and all of them in the first round.

Rousey”s opponent, Liz Carmouche, nearly had Rousey set up for a rear-naked choke early, but Rousey countered and eventually went on to win.
