Princess Beatrice "excited" to see Prince George grow

Princess Beatrice thinks the prospect of seeing the future King of England get older is “exciting”.

The 26-year-old royal is cousin to Prince George’s father the Duke of Cambridge, and spoke about the one-year-old at a recent event. While promoting her Big Change challenge, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter revealed her thoughts on the cute Prince.

It will be really exciting to see how he grows and what sort of person he becomes,” she told The Sun newspaper. Beatrice also gave her thoughts on how admirable her grandmother Queen Elizabeth II is. She added how she often can’t find the appropriate speech to illustrate just how wonderful Her Majesty is.

“Sometimes there are just no words to describe how incredible I think she is,” Beatrice explained. “She is my number one role model.”

Beatrice has a lot to be proud of herself as she carries out an internship with Sony Pictures Television in London. Despite her full-time work Beatrice also finds the time to attend engagements with the Queen and her father the Duke of York.

Prince George recently turned one year old

Just last week Beatrice – whose boyfriend Dave Clark works for Virgin Galactic – joined the Branson family at the Virgin Strive Challenge event.

2013 Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli, singer Natalie Imbruglia, comedian Jack Whitehall, winner of The Voice Jermain Jackman and Richard”s photographer nephew Noah Devereaux also made up the party of famous faces supporting the initiative. Holly Branson was due to join the members of her family taking part in the challenge but had to pull out due to her pregnancy.

“As one of Big Change”s Trustees, some of you have been asking why I”m now not taking part in the Virgin STRIVE Challenge myself,” she posted on her father”s website. “Well, Freddie and I are delighted to share the happy news that we are expecting twins!”
