Talking to world leaders about a cause close to his heart, Prince William recorded an anti-poaching message on Monday (March 4).
Made for the 2013 Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna, the video urges protective measures be put in to place to end poaching, especially of African elephants and rhinos.
Dressed in a suit and purple tie, the Duke of Cambridge said, “What you decide in this room over the next two weeks could determine the fates of some of the world”s most captivating species, as well as many lesser-known plants and animals that warrant equal attention.”
We simply must not let this catastrophe unfold,” the father-to-be continued. Our children should have the same opportunity that we have, to experience wildlife in its many beautiful and varied forms.
