Prince William and Duchess Kate have shear fun at Australian Easter Show
Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge, nee Kate Middleton visited the Royal Easter Show on Good Friday, which took place at the Sydney Olympic Park.

The show is one of Australia‘s largest annual events which attracts around 900,000 people over two weeks and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge seemed pleased to take part in themed festivities which helps support rural communities.

The duo had fun watching a shearing demonstration

The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a light white dress with short sleeves and donned nude wedge shoes with the frock. She wore her brunette locks out to get up-close-and-personal with a ram called Fred. Catherine and her husband also watched a shearing demonstration and could be seen gigging away as a layer of wool was removed.

The royal couple are on a three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand, the first official trip overseas with their son, Prince George of Cambridge. While the youngster wasn’t at the show, Kate could be seen displaying her mothering skills as she greeted a young girl and her mother, who passed on flowers for the British royal.

Kate was also seen speaking with Jennifer Dudley, wife of Glenn Dudley, the President Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales.

The ladies walked around in front of large crowds upon their arrival and got to know each other before entering the venue. Jennifer wore a light blue ensemble to complement Kate’s plain hue, plus co-ordinate with William and her husband’s ties.
