Prince George motivates grandad Prince Charles to create a better future
Prince Charles has opened up to TIME magazine about his newly christened grandson Prince George and his role in the royal family’s line of sucession.

In an article entitled The Forgotton Prince, Charles claims that baby George is “what this is all about” and said that becoming a grandfather has further motivated his want to create a sustainable future.

“I’ve had this extraordinary feeling, for years and years, ever since I can remember really, of wanting to heal and make things better,” said Charles. “I feel more than anything else it’s my duty to worry about everybody and their lives in this country, to try to find a way of improving things if I possibly can.”

During the interview, which was conducted at his Scottish residence Birkhall on the Balmoral estate, Charles also spoke of how he had been teaching Prince William to carry out investitrues.

TIME‘s editor-at-large Catherine Mayer recalls that while William, Kate and George were staying at Birkhall, 64-year-old Charles showed William how to knight people safely ahead of his first ceremony earlier this month.
