Pregnant Halle Berry and her French love, Olivier Martinez have reportedly tied the knot in France. The couple, who are expecting their first baby together in October, married in an intimate ceremony at the Chataeu des Conde attended by 60 guests, including their close friends and family.
Monster’s Ball actress Halle, 46, is said to have stepped out of a vintage Citroen DS, at the small but picturesque chateau in Burgundy, wearing a simple cream gown.
Halle and Olivier, 47, who became engaged in March 2012 after meeting on the set of the 2012 film Dark Tide, officially wed in a civil service at followed by a religious ceremony.
Halle’s five-year-old daughter, Nahla, was said to have had a starring role in her mum’s big day after the youngster was seen joining her mother and stepfather on their flight to France on Tuesday.
Halle, 46, has been married twice before. The Ohio-born star tied the knot with baseball player David Justice in 1992 before the couple split in 1996. In 2003 Halle ended her two and half year marriage to American soul singer Eric Benét, whom she wed in 2001.
Several years later, in 2008, Halle and Canadian model Gabriel Aubry welcomed their daughter Nahla, although the couple went their separate ways in April 2010.
Olivier, who has never married before, has previously been romantically linked to actress Mira Sorvino, singer Kylie Minogue and British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Halle, Olivier and Nahla
In June Olivier let slip that the couple are expecting a baby boy. It was widely thought that the couple were preparing for a boy, but the French actor confirmed their child’s gender when speaking at the Champs-Elysées Film Festival.
“My son will be an American, but I remain French,” Olivier told People magazine at the opening night of the festival on 12 June, where he was serving as the event’s honorary president with Halle attending as his guest of honour.
The couple plan to move back to Olivier’s home country when Nahla turns 18. They had wanted to move to France sooner, but a US judged ruled against this as it would prevent Gabriel from having regular access to his daughter.
