In the romantic setting of Paris, the city of love, Monaco”s Pauline Ducruet finally made her long-term relationship public. Princess Stefanie“s daughter was seen at the Easter weekend walking the streets of the French capital with her footballer boyfriend Paul-Noël Ettori.
The couple first met in 2011, when Pauline was 17 and Paul-Noël was 21, and they have recently begun an exciting new phase in their relationship in Paris, where the young royal has moved to pursue a career in fashion. Her beau has relocated there too in support, while trying to establish himself as a model and an actor after retiring from football having played as a goalkeeper in Monaco.
Although they have been discreet with their romance, Pauline and Paul-Noël did both attend the annual Star charity football game in May 2012, where the sports star demonstrated his devotion to the royal from the stands.
Now though, the couple look set to make more public appearances together. Following their Easter outing, royal watchers will be hoping that Pauline and Paul-Noël will attend their first official Monagasque function together as their relationship continues to strengthen.
Of course, Pauline in not the only Monaco royal whose romance is making headlines. Her cousin, Charlotte Casiraghi made a high-profile outing with her new man, Gad Elmaleh, at the glittering Rose Ball in March. The pair couldn”t take their eyes off each other at what is one of the Gramaldi family”s most anticipated nights of the year.
Charlotte, 26, and her brother Pierre, 25, recently flew to London with their mother, Princess Caroline, to welcome the newest addition to the royal fold. Last month, Caroline became a grandmother for the first time when her son Andrea and his fiancee Tatiana Santo Domingo welcomed their first child, a little boy named Sacha.
