Despite all the damage control shes been doing, Paula Deen keeps losing endorsement and merchandising contracts.
The former Food Network hostess was ditched by Novo Nordisk, a diabetes treatment company, who jumped ship after Deen admitted that she used the n-word once 25 years ago.
A rep from Nordisk explained that they decided to part ways while Paula takes time to focus her attention where it is needed.
It also seems that Target is done with Deen. They released a statement to say, “We have made a decision to phase out the Paula Deen merchandise in our stores as well as on Target.com. Once the merchandise is sold out, we will not be replenishing inventory.”
Additionally, Home Depot has scrapped their business arrangement with Paula. “We are ending our relationship with Paula Deen Enterprises and we will not place new orders beyond those already committed.”
Earlier this week, Deen talked with Matt Lauer on the Today show, stating, “If there”s anyone out there that has never said something that they wish they could take back — if you”re out there, please pick up that stone and throw it so hard at my head that it kill me. Please, I want to meet you…I is what I is, and I”m not changing.”
