The car shop owned by Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas is expected to close down, following the tragic death of the two men last month.
Always Evolving – the performance and racing shop in California aptly named after Paul’s race team – holds an impressive sports car collection in its warehouse area.
The dozens and dozens of privately owned cars, including Saleen Foxbodies, Mustangs and BMWs, will be auctioned off, according to TMZ. The publication added that the shop will shut for good in the next few weeks and staff are already looking for new jobs.
While a core group of people are fighting to keep it open, Always Evolving cannot sustain itself without Paul and Roger’s leadership and financial support.
The race car shop has yet to confirm the news on their Facebook and Twitter pages. The latest post uploaded was on the day after the fiery car crash that killed the two friends.
“Thank you all for your condolences and prayers while we mourn the loss of our loved ones,” the shop wrote on its Facebook page.
On the day of the accident, Always Evolving posted a photo of the red Ferrari that was involved in the crash. Roger was driving the car, with Paul seated in the passenger seat.

Both men were avid car enthusiasts who first met on the race track when Paul noticed Roger driving a Porsche GT3 that he had previously owned.
Wealth advisor Roger is said to have helped the Hollywood star set up the shop in Valencia, California, as well as his charity foundation Reach Out World Wide. The pair were fundraising that day for Paul’s organisation when they decided to take the Ferrari out for a spin.
“Our roots are that of a small group of automotive addicts who wanted quality and knowledge as the basis for every performance mod, for every car we bought for our private collection, and for our race cars and team,” the shop describes on its website.
“A relentless passion for automobiles drives us. We live to see one of our famous performance builds get unveiled. We lose sleep waiting for a recent purchase to get delivered to our dealer showroom.”
