Paris Jackson recovers in hospital after attempted suicide
Paris Jackson is recovering in a Los Angeles hospital following a suicide attempt.

The 15-year-old”s birth mother, Debbie Rowe, confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that her daughter had tried to take her own life and has had “a lot going on” recently.

Paris, the only daughter of the late Michael Jackson, is said to be doing fine in hospital. Various media outlets are reporting that she is expected to fully recover.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, the teen, who is sister to Prince Michael Jackson and Blanket Jackson, caused concern with a series of cryptic tweets on Twitter. “Yesterday , all my troubles seemed so far away,” she quoted from the Beatles” song Yesterday. “Now it looks as though they”re here to stay.”

Her previous tweet read, “I wonder why tears are so salty.”

This month was inevitably difficult for the family and friends that legendary popstar Michael left behind as 25 June marks the fourth anniversary of his passing.

A source closely connected to Paris said it wasn”t the first time that she had attempted suicide but that “this was far more serious” and “not a cry for help” according to TMZ.

A lawyer for Paris”s grandmother, Katherine Jackson, told the NY Daily News, “She”s suffered with the loss of her father. But we don”t know what she was exposed to that precipitated this.”

On 31 May, Paris appeared to be in good spirits as she posted a makeup tutorial on her YouTube page.
