2012 was a great year for all kinds of famous folks, and Forbes has just released their list of the 100 Most Powerful Celebrities.
And its really no surprise that Oprah Winfrey scored the number 1 spot, thanks to her $77 million salary last year, and her massive media presence.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga garnered the runner-up spot and Steven Spielberg, Beyoncé Knowles, and Madonna comprise the top five.
According to Forbes, the criteria used to determine the list includes “money and fame, which includes estimated earnings over the last 12 months, and how often each celebrity is mentioned in print and on TV.”
Here are the Top 10 on Forbes” Celebrity 100 List:
No. 1: Oprah Winfrey, $77 million
No. 2: Lady Gaga, up from No. 5 last year, with $80 million
No. 3: Steven Spielberg, $100 million
No. 4: Beyoncé, $53 million
No. 5: Madonna, $125 million
No. 6: Taylor Swift, $55 million
No. 7: Bon Jovi, $79 million
No. 8: Roger Federer, $71 million
No. 9: Justin Bieber, $58 million
