Giving back the global community in musical fashion, One Direction is slated to perform at the BBC Children in Need charity event on Friday (November 15). The charity show helps raise money for disadvantaged youths all across the U.K.
The pop sensations will reportedly host part of the event from the set of British soap opera “EastEnders.” The set is located inside the show”s famous fictional pub, The Queen Vic. And for the first time on British TV, One Direction will perform their hit song “Best Song Ever!”
In related news, the British heartthrobs also helped design a personalized Pudsey teddy bear, which is being auctioned in order to raise money for the charity. Liam Payne tweeted about the bear, writing, “Check out our 1D Pudsey for @BBCCiN that was inspired by our incredible fans. Auctions live now, get bidding at http://bbc.co.uk/pudsey #CiN.”
“We are often asked what the driving force behind us is and the answer is always the sameour fans,” the band said in an interview with The Mirror. “Our fans are the ones who got us where we are today and who inspire everything we do, including bear designs! So, meet One Directioner Pudsey. Please do dig deep and bid on our bear, it really will go on to make a difference.”
