Nicole Scherzinger“s long-term boyfriend Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix on Sunday and the American singer shared her happiness with her fans.
“The sun was shining down on u today, I knew u could do it @lewishamilton. Congrats on winning at hm #BritishGP #GodFirst”, the Poison singer captioned her Instagram photo.
Nicole and Lewis have been dating since 2007. Her picture showed off the gorgeous British countryside as she cheered on Lewis at Silverstone Racetrack in Northamptonshire.
The former X Factor judge also visited the Sunday Brunch set on Saturday where her co-guests included Chelsea Handler.
The pair recently celebrated their six year anniversary with a romantic multi-stop trip to the United States and Italy.
The sportsman told his approximately 2.16 million followers “better late than never”, as he posted a collage of their romantic moments on his Twitter page.
Using the hashtags “good times” and “God is the greatest”, Lewis, 29, can be seen with his hand across his 35-year-old partner’s lap in one picture, while another sweet snapshot shows former X Factor judge Nicole nuzzling his face with her nose.
The duo also raised their cocktail glasses to the camera in a toast as they posed in a Venice restaurant.
There they seemed to be in more of a relaxed mode as they took selfies while riding bicycles wearing jeans and T-shirts, with Lewis donning the snap-back caps he is famed for fashioning.
Nicole recently spoke out about her battle with bulimia when she was the lead singer of girl band The Pussycat Dolls, and the 36-year-old described bulimia as “a horrible, paralyzing disease”.
“It was such a dark time for me,” she says. “I didn”t think anyone knew in my group or in my family because I hid it that well, I was so ashamed. I knew it wasn”t normal or healthy because I was hurting myself through this cycle of disordered eating. It was my drug, my addiction. It’s an endless vicious cycle.”
