It”s hard to believe he”s spent 20 years as a Backstreet Boy as Nick Carter was looking great while out and about in New York City on Monday (September 23).
The boy bander wore a black button-down shirt, black leather jacket and matching leather pants as he smiled in the sunshine.
Recently, the 33-year-old pop star penned a memoir entitled, “Facing the Music and Living to Talk About It.”
In the book Nick reveals that he lived above a bar in his childhood, sharing, “Family legend has it that when I was two years old, I crawled into one of the Yankee Rebels liquor storage rooms where I was caught drinking for the first time. My parents always laughed at that. I laughed too, for a while, and then I didnt laugh at it any more.
Explaining how his issues with substance abuse began, he noted, “In one home movie, my cousin and I are acting as if we were going out to a bar like two adults. We danced and feigned we were partying. Looking back at how alcohol was part of our playtime, I realize just how deeply my parents drinking affected me. It was as if I was programmed to drink.
