They just began the pre-production of the anticipated Part 1 and Part 2 of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay,” and now Lionsgate officially announced a new cast member.
“Game of Thrones” star Natalie Dormer is set to hold a major role in the final two-part installment of “The Hunger Games.”
“Natalie Dormer cast as Cressida in @The HungerGames: Mockingjay Parts 1&2 bit.ly/cressidaMJ,” the production company tweeted.
Natalie is known for her role as Margaery Tyrell in the hit HBO series. Miss Dormer will appear in both films as Cressida, who helps lead Katniss” (Jennifer Lawrence) uprising in the Capitol of Panem.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” Part 1 is set to hit theaters in 2014 while Part 2 will be in theaters in 2015.
