She”s constantly getting media backlash about her new and over-the-top image, but according to Miley Cyrus, the attention doesn”t seem to phase her the slightest.
While she knows she hit some nerves with her recent antics and in MTV”s documentary “Miley: The Movement,” which is set to premiere on Wednesday (October 2nd), the “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker states “I don”t apologize for anything.”
Discussing her infamous VMA performance, the 20-year-old explains,”It”s a strategic hot mess. If I wanted a raunchy sex show, I wouldn”t have been dressed as a damn bear.”
Miss Cyrus continues, “How many times have you seen this play out in pop Madonna”s done it. Britney [Spears has] done it.”
Also opening up about saying goodbye to her “good girl” persona, Miley says, “I just needed to let go of the past in a way, so I felt like I could be the bad b**** I am.”
