Young Hollywood made its way to Spain Thursday (August 22) for the Madrid premiere of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Looking glamorous yet hip, Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower were welcomed by screaming fans as they walked the red carpet.
Miss Collins stars in the movie as a teen that discovers she”s part of a secret order of half-angel warriors. The flick just earned a B+ rating from CinemaScore.
Yet The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones might not be immortal at the box office. It cost $60 million to make but took in just $3 million during its Wednesday (August 21) debut in the United States. That means its on course to earn just $15 million for the week.
Despite the weak opening, the cast and crew of are already gearing up to shoot the second film in the franchise, with a planned production start in mid-September.
