Lena Duham Speaks Out Against "Girls" Porn Parody

Lena Duham Speaks Out Against

After a string of Girls imitations hit the web, Lena Dunham is speaking her mind to let the sources know that she is not happy.

The creator of the hit HBO series took to Twitter after reports claimed that Hustler is releasing a parody of the show titled This Ain”t Girls XXX.

“Wish I had a better attitude about the “Girls” porn parody. I really can never predict what will trouble me and it”s simply exhausting,” the 27-year-old wrote to her more than 1 million followers Thursday (May 23).

Lena continued, “Okay, I wracked my brain to articulate why I can”t just laugh off a porn parody of Girls and here are 3 reasons:

1. Because Girls is, at its core, a feminist action while Hustler is a company that markets and monetizes a male”s idea of female sexuality.

2. Because a big reason I engage in (simulated) onscreen sex is to counteract a skewed idea of that act created by the proliferation of porn

3. Because it grosses me out.

According to XBiz, a pornography business site, the parody focuses on Hannahs alter ego as she “decides to forsake men, and boyfriend Adam, to experiment with lesbianism” before returning to Adam-and mankind.”
