She”s always one to speak her mind, and now Lady Gaga is sticking up for former US Army intelligence analyst Bradley Manning.
After Manning was sentenced to 35 years in prison on Wednesday (August 21), the Mother Monster took to the Twitterverse to reveal her feelings about the announcement.
“The news of Bradley Manning”s sentencing is devastating. If our own can”t speak up about injustice who will How will we ever move forward” she tweeted.
Manning is guilty of giving WikiLeaks classified reports and cables in 2010 while he was in Iraq, causing the largest leak in American military history.
Manning stated that he “listened and lip-synced to Lady Gaga”s “Telephone” while exfiltrating possibly the largest data spilling in American history.”
