Kym Marsh and Jamie Lomas have officially been granted a divorce.
According to the Press Association neither Kym or Jamie was present at the hearing on 10 January which ended their year-long marriage in less than a minute.
“I have literally had THE best morning,” tweeted Kym just minutes after district judge Graham Stuart finalised the divorce. “Looking forward to mummy and Polly shopping now! Need a new top.”
Earlier in the week Jamie was spotted sharing a bottle of wine at a Heathrow bar with 23-year-old model Chloe Peers, before flying to Los Angeles, while Kym was on holiday in Tenerife.
Mother-of-three and Coronation Street actress Kym, 37, cited Jamie’s ‘unreasonable behaviour’ when filing for divorce.
In 2012 the 33-year-old EastEnders actor was photographed in bed with a woman who claimed to have had an affair with him, causing the couple to briefly split before reconciling their differences.
In 2013, however, the pair began living apart after allegations were made that Kym had had a five-month fling with her Coronation Street co-star Oliver Mellor.
In the following months Kym was said to have told friends there was no future for her and Jamie and that she was especially worried about her children; the couple’s two-year-old daughter Polly, and her son David, 18, and daughter Emily, 15, from a previous relationship.
The former Hear’Say singer was also married to EastEnders actor Jack Ryder in 2002 although the pair called time on their marriage in 2009 when it emerged that Kym had had an affair with Jamie.
