Kris Jenner has spoken about her split from Bruce Jenner and revealed that she can’t put her finger on what changed between them.
“I don’t think it was the pace of life. We’ve always gone 150 miles per hour, and Bruce has more energy than anybody,” 57-year-old Kris said. “I just think it has evolved. I really can’t put my finger on it. We’re just happier now.”
“There was a definite shift in the way we treated each other,” she explained to PEOPLE after they announced their split earlier this week. “We will always be the best of friends, because that’s the dynamic of our relationship.
“We definitely get along as a family and with with kids; we’re so connected in that way. We love each other.”
The Kardashian ‘Momager’ echoed what her son Rob Kardashian said about the breakdown of their 22-year marriage.
“Even between my mom and Bruce there’s no negative, bad blood,” he told Entertainment News. “I don’t think they can be in a happier place right now.”
Kris confirmed the amicable nature of their split saying, “It’s a very wonderful dynamic. It’s just not something that’s real negative and nasty.
“I love really hard, and the people that I have in my life that I love will always be in my life forever. It’s ultimately like one big happy family.”
Bruce has supported the sentiment, telling PEOPLE, “I’m doing great. Kris is happy, I’m happy. Nobody is filing for divorce.” Kris has also confirmed that they haven’t yet drafted divorce papers.
The former Olympian has been living apart from Kardashian matriarch Kris for months, residing in his Malibu residence while Kris stays in her Los Angeles home.
“Kris has her own place and I have my own place. There’s no animosity. Everything is good,” said the 63-year-old.
Bruce, who married Kris in April 1991, one month after she divorced her husband Robert Kardashian, says he will be making appearances on upcoming episodes of Keeping up with the Kardashians.
