Tending to some promotional shows for her hit ABC series “Scandal,” Kerry Washington stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday (November 14).

While enjoying a few laughs, the 36-year-old actress revealed that her mother is head of scrap booking her old articles and spreads.
“I put her in charge of all of that because like early on I figured, well you know, I might have a grandchild one day who wants to see this stuff,” Miss Washington explained. “But I don”t want to live with this stuff in my house. So I send it all to my mother and she archives it. She gets to be proud.”
In regards about the criticism she receives, Kerry stated, “I think if you focus on the good stuff, then when the bad stuff comes, you have to take that to be true also. It”s all wonderful, but I just try to stick to the work. When we have jobs like ours, it”s easier to stick to the work.”
