Despite her penchant for recylcling outfits and owning a wardrobe of designer Kate Middleton has revealed that she doesn’t have a favourite item of clothing.
In a letter to a young royal fan the diplomatic Duchess of Cambridge said that it was impossible for her to choose one item over another.
Molly Parmeter, a 12-year-old schoolgirl from Carlow in Ireland, wrote to the Duchess asking her to describe her most loved garment to form part of a book she was writing about celebrities’ favourite clothes.
“It was a beautiful envelope,” said Molly of the St James’s Palace letter that arrived earlier this month.
The youngster’s project, Molly’s Style Icons, features her hand drawn sketches based on the descriptions she recevied from her favourite style icons.
The fashion book is now available in Ireland and proceeds are going to the Chic & Cheerful Charity Boutique in Carlow.
