Showing off her love for the outdoors, Kate Middleton spent the day with some lucky Boy Scouts at the Great Tower Camp Site in the Lake District on Friday (March 22).
The Duchess of Cambridge faced the bitter blizzard conditions as she helped Cub Scouts cook, climb and learn camping survival skills.
In addition, the expecting Miss Middleton got her hands dirty when she helped knead bread and grill it over an open flame.
After trying her creation, Kate joked, “Oh it”s actually not bad, if you were desperately hungry.”
During the visit, Assistant Director of the Scouts Simon Carter told press, We hope the Duchess will encourage other volunteers. We currently have 35,000 young people across the UK who can”t join up because we don”t have enough adult volunteer leaders.
