Kanye West Enters Not Guilty Plea in Paparazzi Case

His legal battle continues after Kanye West got into a battle with a celebrity photographer, and on Thursday (November 7) the rapper pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor battery and attempted grand theft.

Kanyes attorney Blair Berk entered the plea on his behalf in a Los Angeles court. The Flashing Lights performer was charged with the two misdemeanors in September after getting into a fight with Daniel Ramos at LAX International Airport.

Each of the penalties has the potential to carry up to six months in jail or a $1,000 fine.

The paparazzo claims that Kanye punched him in an unprovoked attack and wrangled his camera to the ground. Wests defense is that he was protecting himself.
