Jessica Chastain Scores First Vogue Cover for December 2013 Issue

Stepping away from the set of her upcoming sci-fi flick “Interstellar,” Jessica Chastain graced the cover of Vogue magazine”s December 2013 issue.

While donning designer duds from Alexander Wang and Oscar de la Renta for the Annie Leibovitz-shot spread, the “Zero Dark Thirty” beauty opened up about her life away from the cameras and reveals how she stays confident.

“I did not feel like a beautiful woman that people would kill each other for,” Miss Chastain explained. “Jessica – who I am in my personal life – I”m very shy, I feel very awkward, I don”t feel like a femme fatale at all.”

“My life has gone, you know, a little wonderful and crazy,” she added.

In regards to how she continues to look forward when it comes to her career, her friend from Julliard Jess Weixler stated, “She”s always been unbelievably focused. It used to drive the guys crazy. “Why won”t Jessica stay up late” There were a few times when Iw as like, “I can”t believe she”s waking up on a Saturday to go to an extra class.””
