As the federal government remains shut down, Jennifer Lopez headed to Washington, D.C. for the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner on Saturday (October 5).
The “American Idol” judge showed off her figure in a long burgundy semi-sheer gown as she posed for photos before receiving an award on stage.
Honored with a trophy as the 2013 Ally for Equality, J-Lo was recognized for her efforts in dedicating time, energy, spirit, and commitment to better the lives of LGBT people.
Sharing pics from the event, the 44-year-old star tweeted, “Backstage and on the white carpet! The beginning to a very special evening at the 2013 @HRC National Dinner!!!”
