Jennifer Garner Fights for Early Education on Capitol Hill

Stepping out to support a cause dear to her heart, Jennifer Garner attended a briefing at the senate visitors center of the US Capitol on Wednesday (November 13).

On the schedule that day was a bipartisan proposal to expand early childhood education from birth to age 5.

In a recent interview with CNN, the ambassador for Save the Children shared, “The playing field for kids in America is not equal. Without starting from the very beginning and getting an earlier start on their education, they have very little chance of catching up if they start as far behind as theyre starting in kindergarten.”

The working mother-of-three has long been an advocate for the rights of children, most recently fighting for a law in California that would restrict paparazzi”s access to kids without their parent”s consent.
