He may have retired for a short time during his career, but Jay Z is staying in the rap game as he headed to a music studio in Soho in New York City on Monday (November 18).
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the multi-talented mogul recently decided to go forward with his collaboration with Barneys New York, despite the multiple claims of racial profiling.
In a statement, the “Holy Grail” rapper announced that an added bonus to his charity was just tacked on, sharing, “From this collection, the Foundation will receive not only 25% of sales, it will now receive the additional 75% of Barneys sales, totaling 100% of all sales from BNY SCC. Along with 100% of sales from the collaboration, the Foundation will receive an additional 10% of all retail sales from Barneys New York stores nationwide and Barneys.com on November 20th.”
However, the allegations against the luxury retailer are not going away and Barneys recently cancelled its New York Holiday kickoff party scheduled for Wednesday, citing “unforeseen circumstances.”
