Its quite possibly one of the hottest songs of the year, and Jay-Z”s Holy Grail just got a music video as epic as the track itself.
Joined by Justin Timberlake, the Picasso Baby rapper looks intense as he paces around the darkened set under the direction of Anthony Mandler.
The clip went live on Facebook before any other outlet, and FBs head of content partnerships Nick Grudin hopes its the first of many exclusive arrangements.
Grudin explained, “What were doing with Jay Z today is really exciting and we think emblematic of the evolution of music and how musicians can connect with their fans.
And we think that is particularly evident in Jay Zs approach here, which will really allow him to go direct to a massive and instant global audience. It”s something that only Facebook I think can really deliver in this way, given the scale of the audiences musicians have and the global nature of those audiences and the social dynamics of what happens when they engage on Facebook.”
