Three days of opulent wedding celebrations will take place this weekend when Monaco royal Andrea Casiraghi and his Colombian bride Tatiana Santo Domingo seal their love with a religious ceremony, held amid the snowy splendour of Switzerland.
This follows the couple’s civil wedding over the summer, a more low key, bohemian affair that ended with an al fresco picnic in the grounds of the Prince’s Palace in Monte Carlo.
Lavish nuptials run in the family for Andrea, the most famous being that of his grandparents, Prince Rainier and Hollywood goddess Grace Kelly.
His mother Princess Caroline must have also given him pointers on how to organise a celebration to remember, based on her own experience.
