Having firsthand experience with overzealous shutterbugs, Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner testified in favor of a state anti-paparazzi bill that aims to protect children on Tuesday (August 13).
The pair of celebrity moms spoke in front of the Assembly Judiciary Committee in Sacramento, California, trying to change the definition of harassment to include taking photos of children without their parents” permission.
Having testified once before, the “Monster”s Ball” star told the congressmen in June, “My daughter doesn”t want to go to school because she knows “the men” are watching for her. They jump out of the bushes and from behind cars and who knows where else, besieging these children just to get a photo.”
Getting emotional just thinking about it, the “13 Going on 30” actress described to the committee how the photographers aggressively follow her and her brood of three every day.
