After telling everyone about how horrible the MET Gala was, it appears Gwyneth Paltrow may have changed her opinion.
Just last week, the “Iron Man” beauty dissed this year”s event during an interview on “The Kyle and Jackie O Show” saying how awful the gala was and even called the theme a bit too childish.
Now it appears Gwyneth had a change of heart and took to her lifestyle blog Goop to give rave reviews about the night in New York City.
“The Met Ball, at NYC”s Metropolitan Museum of Art, is always the year”s most elaborate display of incredible fashion and this year was no different,” the 40-year-old actress happily proclaimed.
“The theme was “Punk: Chaos to Couture” and when the house of Valentino”s Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri asked me to join them, I was thrilled to see what they would create with my right fashion hand, Elizabeth Saltzman.”
Although Miss Paltrow”s dress was far from the “punk” theme, she continues to say she, infact, loves the style.
“We got all inspired in the Goop office about punk making a comeback through subtle influences and thus, we asked one of my absolutely favorite websites, the most excellently curated SSENSE, to show us how to we could work it into our Spring/Summer wardrobes,” she explains.
