The man who crashed the stage at the Grammy Awards is finally being played off … to court!

Ukrainian journalist/prankster Vitalii Sediuk ran onstage before Adele”s acceptance speech at the February ceremony.

The L.A. City Attorney tells our sources, “The safety and protection of both participants and attendees of major events held in this city is a priority of my office.”

The 24-year-old was charged with entering a performance area and interfering with performers … both misdemeanors … and could face six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each.

Sediuk crashed the Feb. 10 event without a ticket, then walked through the audience to the stage, briefly joining Adele and Jennifer Lopez while speaking into the microphone.

He”ll be arraigned May 31.

Remember — this is the guy who tried to kiss Will Smith on a red carpet in Moscow … and got slapped down for it.
