Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh is reportedly joining the latest series of Stricly Come Dancing.
The 30-year-old is set to make her dancefloor debut alongside model Jerry Hall, cricketer Michael Vaughan, Westlife singer Nicky Byrne, TV presenters Fern Britton and Sian Williams, EastEnders star Sid Owen and Olympians Victoria Pendleton and Sir Steve Redgrave.
Paul Hollywood from the Great British Bake Off has also been reported as having signed up for Strictly, with a source telling the Sun: “The Great British Bake Off has been a huge ratings success for the BBC and we are delighted that Paul is now on board.”
The source added: “He has a reputation for being a tough cookie and it will be interesting to see how he copes once he is out of his comfort zone.”
Bradford-born Kimberley is expected to feature on the show, which appears on screens next month, although the full line up will be officialy announced mid-September.
A Strictly source revealed “When we heard she was interested we were thrilled. Now everyone’s dying to see her moves. She’s a great name to have got.”
Kimberley, who has been with her boyfriend Justin Scott, former member of the boyband Triple 8, for the past nine years, was praised earlier this year for her role as Princess Fiona in the West End production of Shrek.
The songstress is no stranger to reality shows, having won Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 and then helped her bandmate Cheryl Cole on X Factor.
