Girl power for one last time as fab five Spice up the closing ceremony
Making a spectacular entrance atop five London cabs, the Spice Girls rode back onto the world stage to belt our their hits one last time.

One billion sports and music lovers watched around the world as Sporty, Baby, Posh, Scary and Ginger were reunited for the London 2012 closing ceremony.


Although they hadn”t performed together since 2008, the quintet looked at ease performing Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life.

Even Victoria Beckham, gorgeous in a strapless black Giles Deacon dress with flowing train, looked to be enjoying herself. 

The singer-turned fashion designer, who was reportedly hesitant at first about the band getting back together, was clearly pleased with their star turn, posting a backstage picture afterwards cuddling up to her bandmates.

The caption read: “We did it!! I love u girls so much!!!!! xxx vb”

Geri Halliwell wore a grown up version of her famous Union Flag dress, while Emma Bunton stayed true o her baby roots in a pink mini dress.


Meanwhile Melanie Brown showcased her curves in a Zuhair Murad bodysuit, while Melanie Chisholm opted for a white bodysuit.

The crowd at the Olympic stadium went wild as they sped through their energetic dance routine.

In particular, London Mayor Boris Johnson was spotted going wild in the audience while Prime Minister David Cameron was seen jigging in the VIP seats.
