Grimsby has pulled out all the stops for pregnant Kate Middleton, who was due to visit on Tuesday morning.
The streets of the coastal town filled with flag-waving well-wishers who had turned out to give the Duchess of Cambridge – and her burgeoning bump – a warm welcome despite the freezing fog which delayed her arrival.
Since news of the royal”s visit broke, Grimsby had been buzzing with excitement. Her very own hastagh – #gykate – appeared on Twitter as excited locals swapped information.
Kate was in town to make her debut Prince”s Trust visit and swot up on the area”s fishing industry.
Grimsby saw the Duchess”s return to royal duties after she and Prince William attended their friends” wedding Arosa, Switzerland.
