Earl Spencer, the uncle of Princes William and Harry, proudly shows off his heavily pregnant wife as the Olympic torch makes a pit stop at his Northamptonshire estate.
The baby, their first together, will be born just over a year after he wed Karen Gordon, a Canadian philanthropist, at his country seat Althorp Park following an eight-month courtship.
Shortly after their own nuptials, the couple were in the pews of Westminster Abbey for the royal wedding.
The new Countess Spencer is the aristocrat”s third wife.
Karen has two daughters, aged 11 and 13, by her previous husband Mark Gordon, a film producer, with credits such as Saving Private Ryan to his name.
And the Earl has six of his own from two previous marriages.
